Absorbed vs Unabsorbed Units
When this report describes data of Absorbed or Unabsorbed Units, the data is sourced from the CMHC who further described the data as:
Absorbed (Data) = “The number of new housing units that have been completed and sold in urban centres with at least 50,000 people. “
Unabsorbed (Data) = “The number of new housing units that have been completed but not sold in urban centres with at least 50,000 people. “
In the report are charts that describe the amount of Absorbed and Unabsorbed Units in the province of Ontario for the months of July, August & September in 2021. All Charts are then titled as Q3.
The charts are divided between units priced above and below $1,000,000.
